Kok-Sing Tang is Director of Graduate Research and Associate Professor in the School of Education at Curtin University. His research interests include the role of language, literacy, discourse, and multimodality. More recently, he is examining the use of generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) to support teaching and learning. He is the co-editor-in-chief of Research in Science Education (RISE) and author of “Discourse Strategies for Science Teaching & Learning” published by Routledge. At the centre, Kok-Sing analyzes the children’s multimodal meaning-making in the Creative Core Project.

One of those handheld electronic games popular in the 80s, like Super Mario Bros, Zelda or Castlevania. It’s amazing how these games have evolved not just into serious games, but only into transmedia and popular franchises in movies and TV shows. I guess our lives are still being shaped by these evolutions.
