QUT PhD scholarships 

We are currently seeking expressions of interest for HDR students to undertake research in the Australian Research Council Centre of Excellence for the Digital Child.

We are currently seeking expressions of interest for HDR students to undertake research in the Australian Research Council Centre of Excellence for the Digital Child that reflects the Centre’s transdisciplinary focus and aligns with one or more of our program themes: Healthy, Educated and Connected (examples of our current research projects can be found under our program theme links).

Students can enrol in a PhD, Professional Doctorate or Master of Philosophy (MPhil) course. Up to two scholarships are available at QUT.

You’ll receive:

  • a scholarship of $33,637 per annum, tax exempt (for full time students only) for up to 18 months for masters students, and 3 years for PhD students, including four weeks of paid leave per year
  • a top up scholarship of $10,000 per annum
  • a full tuition fee sponsorship for international students.

An extension of up to 6 months may be considered, subject to satisfactory progress and budget availability.

Curtin University HDR scholarships 

The Curtin Healthy Digital Child team has the goal to enhance the lives of children and their families by supporting technology use in ways which are beneficial to children’s physical health. We are offering PhD scholarships funded by the ARC Centre of Excellence for the Digital Child.

Projects will involve different research methods and designs in research areas:

  • Community perspectives on children’s technology use, and how these influence practices and child health and development.
  • Patterns and correlates of technology use by children and families.
  • Physical impacts of screen and non-screen digital technologies.
  • Better methods to capture children’s technology use, postures and movements.

This scholarship provides a living stipend of $36,500 p.a. based on full-time studies, for up to a maximum of 3.5 years.
