Kim Maslin is an experienced digital technologies educator and children’s cyber safety author. Her PhD project focuses on how to facilitate children’s creativity through STEM activities in online learning environments. With the knowledge gained through her PhD research, Kim hopes to address some of the gaps that exist in our understanding of the way young children engage in online learning. She also hopes to contribute meaningfully to the STEM research field and provide a framework that encourages quality online education that can reach children in regional and remote areas. Kim’s vision is to see children develop essential 21st century skills, as well as a life-long interest in STEM and digital technologies. More broadly, she hopes to see children equipped with the skills required to navigate the digital world in happy and healthy ways.
