Katie Fielding’s PhD project examines how the attitudes and beliefs of caregivers and educators impact the way children use digital technologies for creativity. Katie hopes her research will give us a better sense of the ways that digital technologies can be part of a toolkit of resources to help develop children’s creativity and enable them to become the problem solvers, innovators, and critical thinkers our world needs. She also hopes to empower caregivers and educators to harness these resources in intentional ways in the home and in early childhood settings.

Katie is a recipient of the Research Training Scholarship at Curtin University.
