Dr. Tara Roberson has worked in public communication, research management, and partner engagement for over a decade. She is the Science Communication and Strategic Partnerships Manager for the Digital Child at QUT and the co-chair of the QUT LGBTIQA+ Working Party. 

Tara was previously a postdoctoral researcher at the Australian Research Council Centre of Excellence for Engineered Quantum Systems (EQUS). She completed her PhD on science hype in Canberra at Australia’s National Centre for Public Awareness of Science, ANU and her Bachelor and Masters degrees at the University of Queensland.
