Lois Peach is a Research Fellow within ARC Centre of Excellence for the Digital Child. Her research concerns intergenerational relationships and how human and nonhuman actors facilitate interactions between children, adults and (non-)digital technologies. Lois also works in the Children’s Technology Play Space supporting digital playgroups.

Lois has a keen interest in posthuman theory and background in ethnographic, creative and co-produced research methods. Her PhD research engaged post-qualitative approaches and developed the ‘post-age’ as a concept and pedagogical practice addressing age-based assumptions and deficit perspectives toward children and older adults. Lois has also worked on several interdisciplinary research projects with children and young people exploring children’s wellbeing and the use of Virtual Reality (VR) technologies for promoting educational engagement.

Crowding around the desktop computer with my mum and sister to play the new Harry Potter PC game that had just been released. We still navigate new technology together.
