Yinni Peng is Associate Professor in Sociology at Hong Kong Baptist University. Her research focuses on gender and family, migration, and digital technology and media. She examines how digital technologies and media shape family relationships, family dynamics, and gendered childcare practices in urban Chinese families and migrant families. Her research was published with Gender & Society (Peng and Wong, 2013), Journal of Ethnic and Migration Studies (Peng, 2016), and Sex Roles (Peng, 2022).
