As part of his PhD, William is developing the Healthy Bytes project in partnership with south western Sydney Health Promotion Service. The project involves conducting formative research and investigating the prevalence and place of screen use among 3- to 5-year old children in south western Sydney.

William is using a mixed methods approach, with particular focus on ensuring that future interventions are tailored specifically for culturally and linguistically diverse populations within south western Sydney.

William has a background in psychology and has experience in qualitative and quantitative methodologies. His goal is to conduct dynamic research with real world impact that merges population-level inferences with lived experiences and perspectives of those whose stories are being told.
