Wendy’s PhD research has a focus on digital inclusion and low income parents. She has been a senior strategy and policy leader with extensive experience across government and the not for profit sector. At The Smith Family, she led work on strategy, data, digital inclusion, and child safe practice. She previously held senior roles in the Commonwealth Government, focusing on early childhood, community programs, and national initiatives such as Communities for Children. She also contributes through board and advisory roles, including with the Welfare Rights Centre and SEED future.
