Tamara is a community focused, creativity educator invested in nurturing individuals’ potential through art education. Her specialty is programing and delivering hybrid educational experiences that combine art with science.
With over 14 years of experience, she has worked with children and adults, underprivileged youth, people with additional needs and professionals in the field of early childhood and education, in Australia and abroad. In 2020, Tamara founded Creative Ark, an art school that combines learning about art and science. Tamara frequently works with Australian Museum, UOW Learning Labs, Wollongong Council afterschool-care services and preschools, to design and deliver art engagement programs and professional development sessions.
Tamara holds MFA in Digital Media from UNSW and has been accepted into the Doctoral program at UOW in 2024 under the supervision of Professor Lisa Kervin, A/Prof Jessica Mantei and Dr Clara Rivera. Additionally, Tamara is a current ‘Artist in Residence’ with The Centre of Excellence for The Digital Child.
