Bec is the Executive Assistant to Centre Director, Distinguished Professor Susan Danby, where she manages Susan’s many competing priorities and also provides administrative support to the centre. With a background in various administrative roles, including previous positions at QUT in the Marketing and Communications department and the Research Portfolio Office, Bec brings extensive experience to the team.

She is excited by the Centre’s research and its potential to innovate and create safer, more positive digital futures for young children and their families.

Earliest digital memory 

Playing Sonic the Hedgehog with my sister on the Sega mega drive on our tiny 20cm tube TV (with the tuning dials) it would always take us a while to get it on the right channel!
