Ranjana Das is Professor in Media and Communication at the University of Surrey. Author or editor of five books, Ranjana researches everyday practices of technology use, with a strand of recent work exploring this in the context of families and parenting. Her work has been funded by the AHRC, the Leverhulme Trust, the Wellcome Trust and the British Academy. Her latest book – Parents talking Algorithms: Navigating Datafication and Family Life in Digital Societies – was published by Bristol University Press in December 2024.
