Michelle de Kok’s Master of Philosophy project examines the impact of digitisation on children’s creativity and STEM engagement. Michelle’s project is part of a scholarship funded by Scitech, a Centre industry partner. Michelle aims to discover the extent of the impact and ways in which digital technology can be used to increase children’s creativity while promoting the 21st century skills that will be required in the future. Her hope is that children will be able to enhance and develop their creativity through the use of digital technologies, which in turn will ensure that they are future ready.
