Jaka is a PhD student at the School of Education, Edith Cowan University. He has an interdisciplinary background including English Language and Literature (undergraduate), Learning Technology and Society (postgraduate) and now he is interested in the use of digital technologies for early childhood education.

His PhD research seeks to assess early childhood teachers’ capabilities in using and implementing responsible generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) in both classroom and online learning environments in Australia, and to explore what kind of professional learning or institutional support they need. The findings are expected to provide a deeper understanding of teachers’ capabilities in using GenAI responsibly, and insights into
what kind of training and support needed to equip them with the knowledge and skills necessary for
effective and safe integration.

First digital memory

My parents bought me a cell phone called Esia when I was in junior high school. That’s when I started to chat with girls and eventually got one.
