I am a Research Fellow at the University of Wollongong in the Educated Child research stream.

I am a qualitative researcher and keen to collaborate on projects that explore the appeal and tensions of digital technology in early childhood in various settings. This includes thinking through place and space, learning through play, and co-designing research with children

Prior to this role, I worked in training and development, and various research support roles at UOW. I have worked on a range of research projects investigating the impact of alcohol advertising on young people, alcohol related violence in night-time economies, underage drinking, and community based social marketing projects.

I hope to make it easier for parents and policy makers to make informed decisions around digital technology and children. I hope the children we engage in the Children’s Technology Play Space at UOW leave a little more curious, a little more playful, and feel confident to learn with technology moving forward.
