Julian is a cognitive scientist who studies how we understand our own minds, exploring why we feel confident about some decisions but not others. He’s interested in how this self-awareness develops from infancy through to old age, and how digital technology can shape that journey. His work with the centre investigates how young children use digital devices and the ways this use shapes their learning and development.
