Dr. Cody Phillips is a Senior Lecturer of Human-Computer Interaction who leads an independent program of research within the Games Research and Interaction Design (GRID) lab. His vision is a future where digital games facilitate mastery, wellbeing, and resilience in the people who play them. His Ph.D. dissertation focused on understanding the influence of rewards and trait reward responsiveness on player motivation.
In the Centre, he is investigating the psychological effects of digital rewards on children.
