The digital ‘day in a life’ of a distance education child
About the project
Our project aims to describe the digital day in the life of a child involved in distance learning and develop recommendations for home tutors and teachers about digital safety, health and engaging in learning through digital modes.
In Queensland, the Isolated Children’s Parents’ Association (ICPA) have over 45 branches and over 1,200 member families engaging in distance learning. There is no evidence to describe how this learning may impact on the continued learning, health and wellbeing of children and how children are engaged or not in learning through digital means.
