Digital Support for Families Health Care Journey
About the project
In partnership with Children’s Health Queensland, this research project explores how families find, understand, and use health information, especially through digital tools like websites and mobile apps. Our goal is to identify ways to improve how health information is delivered to families at Queensland Children’s Hospital.
The project is being conducted in two phases:
- Phase 1: Online Survey
A short survey to learn about families’ experiences with accessing health information. Read the Participant Information Sheet here. - Phase 2: Family Workshops (Optional)
Families who complete the survey can choose to participate in interactive workshops. These sessions will involve caregivers and children aged 8–12 years, and will help us explore further how families use digital tools during their health care journey.
Why It Matters
This project will help shape better, more accessible digital health resources for families at Queensland Children’s Hospital.
