Association between children’s technology use and concerns around child development while considering parents’ mental health

About the project

The aim of this study is to investigate the association between children’s technology use and concerns around child development while considering parents’ mental health.

Digital technology and its increased use by children is reforming and reshaping the developmental environments of our children. Previous research has found there is a complex relationship between technology use, parental mental health and other family factors that together influence infant development at one year of age.

Using the ACODA data will enable researchers to examine these associations in children up to five years of age.
