The Digital Child Health Forum is a one-day peak event hosted by the ARC Centre of Excellence for the Digital Child. This event brings together key stakeholders from government, agencies, industry, and philanthropy with concern or carriage for the health, education, communities, and welfare of children in the digital age.
The forum will focus on unpacking the complexities of digital health to support children, and families. It will explore the role of digital technologies in health, across health systems, community and education. Discussions will identify priorities, key considerations, and lessons learned from implementation and impact.
This event will be headlined by two international keynote speakers: Professor Lauren Hale, and Professor Dimitri Christakis. Professor Hale is a renowned US-based children’s health epidemiologist from Stoney Brooke University, the founding editor-in-chief of Sleep Health, and digital health expert. Professor Christakis is a senior Paediatrician at the Seattle Children’s Hospital in Washington State, USA, Chief Health Officer for the Special Olympics, and editor-in-chief of JAMA Pediatrics.
